Well the weather outside was frightful............................but the music was so delightful !!! And yes we had to go inside due to the heavy rain, but as Jimmy said on stage, "at least we didn't have any mosquitos"! The photos are up !! Let the facebook tagging begin !!! The crowd was great as usual. It was so nice to see some of the regular "Groovy People" who are at almost every show as well as new faces. This time I tried to concentrate on taking some group and couples shots. They can be downloaded for free on this site. Compliments of Sack and of course Groovy Tuesday. I also had a nice time talking to Joe Jr. as well as Jan about some new additions that will make the outdoor concerts even better this year. As a photographer, i'll be glad to see improved lighting on the stage. Should make things better than ever. The atmosphere in the "Sweet Clover Room" really adds to the experience. There is such a warmth that fills the room making it such a unique venue. There is entertainment at different times of the weekend. Check the website for times and performers. I strongly suggest "liking" them on Facebook as well as getting on the mailing list.
And back to the band:
Jimmy is the new bass player and adds his own style of vocals to the mix. It was really nice to see him solo on a few songs. He is so expressive on stage and really something to see. The harmonies are still there. The tight instrumentation. The songs we all know and remember.
Groovy Tuesday !!!
